I will never use this company for rentals ever again. Left my personal car on lot for 1 week while I was on my honeymoon. My personal car was broken into; they reported it on 10/16/17 but no one bothered to contact me to let me know so I could have made arrangements for my car to be picked up. Construction nearby so my car is filled with dirt/dust. I returned the rental today 10/23/17. Everything was good to go. Go out to my car and just noticed my window is smashed in, “thankfully” Manager Zach( which by the way shouldn’t be a manager. Has no clue what he’s doing), had someone bag up my window. But no one thought of to, well I don’t know, contact me. They have all the information on someone who is renting their cars. (Also 2 others were broken into with a window smashed in) but no one can contact who ever is renting from them and see what car belongs to who and tell them about it. They let me walk out to my car, where I parked it on 10/13/17 and found it with glass everywhere. Go inside and Manager Zach “ oh. The red car is yours. Yaaaaa... someone broke into it... I don’t know what you want me to tell you...” like what?! I trusted your company with my car. You trusted me with yours and I paid 690.00 for a rental. Enterprise wouldn’t even give a slight discount to compensate for my broken window and ruined interior. I honestly am upset that yes my widow was smashed out. But the fact that no one even tried or thought “ hey. You know we should make some calls and figure out who’s cars these are and tell them “...If called, I could’ve arranged for a relative to pick my car up and filed insurance claims to have it ready before I even returned to Ohio.
Terrible experience. I was given a car with a slow tire leak (turns out it had a nail in it) but the leak was slow enough to where it was unnoticeable until I was 50 miles into my 150 mile trip. Area I was traveling to had no Enterprise locations with cars to swap out. I had to contact roadside assistance after I got to my location to have them put on a spare. After that, I had to spend three hours at a Firestone Tire getting the tire fixed. I ended up missing half of the conference I traveled to and paid $300 to attend. Once I got back to the original location, the Branch Manager was only willing to comp one day out of the four days I paid for the car, stating that "tire issues happen". Only positive about my experience was the gentleman who gave me a ride back to my car. Very friendly and deserves recognition. I will not be renting from Enterprise again.
“ not my problem “. Like I said I will never rent from here again and will never recommend this joke of a company. There has to be something in place for things like this, other than “not my problem “.
See my wife Emily’s detailed review. This company completely mishandled our personal car’s window being SMASHED IN while out of state on our honeymoon. Instead of contacting us so we could have arranged proper handling, our car sat vacant for an entire week collecting dust/dirt from nearby construction. Our car interior is ruined and the manager Zach said “not my problem”.
A really upbeat, efficient staff. Car was clean and well maintained. Great price. Book early! This is a very popular location!
It's impossible to rate in just a few words but I'll do my best to keep it short. I have been renting with Enterprise Rent A Car since the late 90s. My experience with the staff in person is truely amazing. I've often asked, how is it possible to remain so calm and courteous in the midst of, often times, tumultuous costumers? The manager at 950 E. Market St in Akron is extremely efficient at multi-tasking. He really represents Enterprise in away that makes you remember "this is where I want to rent my next vehicle". When Robier left, I didn't think that anybody could fill his shoes. We got another great manager. His name is Zack. I have seen great managers in this location, Robier, Max, Shawatha, (officer Lou) and have hated losing them. On the other note, I don't know who the district or area manager is for 950 E. Market St but I have not been pleased with how he or she has stripped the front line help in recent months, leaving 1-2 employees to represent such a large clientele. Shame on you.
I asked Manager Zach “ what about my window, it happened here on your lot, like help me out here, what needs to be done etc. “ he told me
