Always a great Akron tradition... Vegetarian or not the Salad Boy is fantastic; of course the Galley Boy is the other go-to! Be sure to get a side of potato teasers or fried mushrooms. Wash it down with one of their famous milkshakes!
First time ever going to a Swensons and I was extremely pleased. Food was great (galley boy, potato teasers, and milk shakes). And the customer service was flawless and fast (Alec was amazing). They even had a Santa Claus running around on Christmas Eve. If I’m ever stopping in Akron again to eat, I’ll be stopping in Swensons.
Love their burgers and onion rings. I'm not a big fan of their fries tho. My favorite thing on their menu are their milkshakes: you can mix or get plain. My daughter always gets peanut butter and chocolate and I get peanut butter and banana.
Fun fast food where the servers run up to your car. Love the veggie burger and shakes!
This is Swensons, so it automatically gets a 5 star for the food and it's elite Akron-local status. But this is also my favorite location. I think the service here is the best in town, and the parking lot is big enough for peak hours. If you haven't tried Swensons before, the Wallhaven branch is a great place to start! Always one of my first stops when I visit town.
