Clean, beautiful, not too crowded, and a great team. Canal Park is the home of the Akron Rubber Ducks (formerly Akron Aeros), who've been great the past few years. Games are never sold out, but there's plenty of people at these minor league games. Food is pretty standard stadium fare at the captive audience inflated prices. Domestic beer starts at $4.50 for 12 oz, but "premium or imported" beers can be $9 at that size. Have a family picnic zone you can sit in at extra costs, with meal provided most nights. Tickets are cheap, as low as about $8 if bought in advance. Plenty of close parking too. Never had a bad time and been to dozens of games there over the years.
Great ballpark for a minor league team. Many special events throughout the season. They let the kids run around the bases on certain nights after the game too. Lots of parking close.
Really fun to watch games here. Small enough that it's not a hassle but big enough to feel like a real baseball game. Also beer is way too expensive with too little selection for a town with this many breweries. Definitely BYOB ;)
There really are no bad seats at Canal Park. From any where in the stadium you were easily able to see what was going on on the field. The activities between the innings were cute and fun. My family and I had a great evening on the cheap! The fireworks after the game were a great touch, and also had no bad seats!
If I had to chose between a Ducks game or a Tribe game, I’d definitely pick the Ducks. I absolutely love environment at at Canal Park. There’s no seat that has a bad view! And you can’t beat the prices! I always look forward to baseball season at Canal Park!
