I don't go here unless I can't find what I need anywhere else or if I'm going for a quick trip. Giant Eagle is beyond expensive. I think even Acme is cheaper.
Lately when I shop you have more cashier's working. I really appreciate that a lot. Thank you!!
Where's the dairy free stuff? Where's the organic and whole grains? Where's the gluten free? This place isn't like a grocery store, it's like a gas station that happens to have some produce.
Don't go there during the first of the month. There is a cop always present. It has nice flowers and the card section is nice. No really high end foods there because everyone calls it the "hood" Eagle and the selection is as such.
My husband and I make jokes about Giant Eagle's expensive prices. We love walking out of Aldis with a pretty good amount of food for $25. We say the same amount of cash would get you a couple loaves of bread and a gallon of milk and you'd still be short if all you bring is $25 to Giant Eagle.
Like the store set up, OK selection, but I pay top price for things and have to bag my own groceries a large majority of the time. Don't know if they can't keep staff or just don't properly staff but customers shouldn't have to do that themselves this is why I have been going to another store that ALWAYS has a bagger available for each lane.
