I went to the er the other day and I was given Danielle M Paulin as my doctor (White lady with blonde hair) . This doctor was very ignorant and very rude to me and my mother. She said that she 99% knows what I have and the lab results didn't even come in yet, she treated my scar with no care what so ever and referred to me as "sweetheart" when having an attitide. I came back the next day and was given J. Chika Morah as my doctor and she was very nice and took a look at my problem and said the complete opposite, I also was seen by two other women at akron general and they said the same thing as J. Chika Morah. I am very hurt by Danielle M Paulin attitude and I feel as though she is too dangerous and toxic to be working with children. I also heard from nurses that she always has that attitude around the hospital. I am very disappointed !

Brought my 9 month old son in for a rash all over his body and he had a fever when we arrived. Several hours later after watching many families come and go for simple ailments. I was told it was based on priority. Finally got back to room after three hours and forty five minutes to find a DIRTY bed with red stuff all over it. NOT a very caring hospital in my opinion. If I could rate in negative stars it would be a negative five

I am incredibly frustrated with the financial/bureaucratic part of this hospital. They have no system or recourse for disputing bills. For their occupational therapy (for kids), they are able to charge more than ordinary because their hospital is classified as a "trauma" hospital. The people working for them do not have medical doctorates (but medical certificates), and have "set charges" of over $300 an hour.

Staff was very caring and nice. I'm from central Ohio and usually use Nationwide childrens, but this was a very pleasant change.

We recently brought my toddler in for his very first ER visit and had a great experience as far as ER visits can go. We didn't wait long at all in the waiting room before we were taken back to a room. Once in the room it did take some time for a doctor to come in and they didn't spend much time in the room at all but the popsicle my son received after the doctor was in did seem to help calm him down. The registration person didn't actually make it into the room until we were being released to leave but that didn't really impact our visit. Regardless, the doctor was quick to diagnose the problem, prescribed the necessary medications, and tried to be as quick as possible during her examination while still being thorough to ease my child's discomfort.
